PROJECT CAPABILITY
Why SOINVISION for OEM/ODM Projects
OEM/ODM development requires engineering, testing, manufacturing, and close coordination between each stage. SOINVISION brings these capabilities together for medical display projects from initial definition through production.

Engineering & R&D
Our engineering team works across medical display hardware, signal interfaces, OSD and display functions, image processing, mechanical design, and new product development.
Manufacturing & Batch Production
Approved product configurations can move from engineering samples into batch production with production checks, agreed documentation, packaging, and manufacturing according to the confirmed specification.
Display, Signal & Image-Processing Integration
Signal interfaces, display functions, image-processing requirements, and product configurations can be engineered around connected equipment and application needs.
In-House EMC Lab
SOINVISION has an in-house EMC laboratory for development-stage testing and engineering verification, helping identify electromagnetic compatibility issues before external certification testing when required.
PROJECT PROCESS
From Requirement to Production
A structured development process helps define the product, verify the design, and prepare the approved configuration for manufacturing.
01
Requirement Review
We review the target application, product type, target market, display specifications, interfaces, functions, appearance requirements, expected quantity, and current development stage.
02
Engineering Definition
We determine whether the project should start from an existing SOINVISION platform, a customized platform, or a newly developed product.
The hardware, software, mechanical, interface, and image-processing scope is then defined.
03
Prototype Development
Engineering samples are developed according to the agreed housing, interfaces, functions, OSD, image-processing requirements, and other product specifications.
04
Validation & Refinement
The prototype is evaluated for functions, signal interfaces, display performance, mechanical fit, and EMC performance. Required changes are incorporated before the product configuration is approved.
05
Production & Delivery
After sample approval, the confirmed product can move into production preparation and batch production, followed by production checks, agreed documentation, packaging, delivery, and repeat-production planning.
A structured process from engineering definition to repeat production.
Project Review
What to Send Us for a Faster Project Review
Clear product requirements help our engineering team evaluate the customization scope and determine the next development step more efficiently.
- Target Application and Product Type
Tell us where the product will be used and what type of medical display you plan to develop. - Required Screen Size and Display Specifications
Share the preferred screen size, resolution, brightness, and other important display requirements. - Required Signal Interfaces
List the connected equipment and required HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, SDI, or other interface requirements. - Functions and Workflow Requirements
Describe required display functions, OSD behavior, image processing, connected devices, and application-specific requirements. - Branding and Appearance Requirements

BUYER QUESTIONS
OEM/ODM Project FAQ
Answers to common questions from medical device brands, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and private-label partners.
Can an OEM/ODM project start from an existing SOINVISION platform?
Yes. If an existing SOINVISION platform meets the core display requirements, it can be used as the starting point for branding, appearance, mechanical, interface, software, function, or image-processing customization. If the target specification requires substantial changes beyond the existing platform, the project can move into custom product development.
What parts of a medical display can be customized?
Depending on the project, customization can include branding, packaging, manuals, housing, color, buttons, mechanical structure, signal interfaces, OSD, display functions, image-processing functions, and other product-specific hardware or software requirements. The final engineering scope is defined after the product specification and intended application are reviewed.
How is EMC testing handled during product development?
SOINVISION has an in-house EMC laboratory for development-stage testing and engineering verification. EMC issues can therefore be evaluated during product development and refined before the product proceeds to any required external certification testing.
What happens after a prototype is approved?
Once the engineering sample and product specification are approved, the project moves into production preparation based on the confirmed hardware, software, mechanical design, branding, packaging, and documentation requirements. The approved configuration can then proceed to batch production and repeat-production planning.
Why does SOINVISION need to know the target market at the start of a project?
Target markets may have different product, testing, documentation, labeling, or certification requirements. Identifying the intended market early helps ensure that relevant requirements can be considered during engineering and product planning rather than addressed only after the design is complete.
