WHY 32-INCH?

A Balanced 32-Inch Format for Primary Medical Visualization

Choosing the 32-inch NEXARA is about matching screen scale to the overall medical video system. For installations that need more primary image area than a 27-inch display without moving to the footprint of a 43-inch model, the U320 family provides the middle-size option in the standard NEXARA range.

01

More Viewing Area for Main-Display Workflows

A 32-inch screen provides additional image area compared with the 27-inch model, making it a practical choice when the display serves as the primary visualization point within a medical video system.

1080p to 4K Enhancement

NEXARA 32 accepts compatible native 4K signals as well as 1080p / Full HD video inputs on its 3840 × 2160 panel.

When a Full HD source is used, NEXARA’s shared 1080p-to-4K enhancement scales the incoming image for the 4K panel. This supports medical video systems that combine existing Full HD equipment with newer 4K sources, so source upgrades can occur without moving the entire video chain to native 4K at once.

The enhancement improves Full HD presentation on the 4K panel, but it does not turn the original source into native 4K acquisition.

178° Wide Viewing Angle

With a 178° viewing angle, NEXARA 32 supports medical-image visibility from positions around the screen rather than only from a direct front view.

For a 32-inch medical display, this gives the operator and nearby viewers more flexibility when the same image needs to be seen from different positions.

SDR & HDR Configuration for Primary 4K Viewing

NEXARA 32 supports SDR and compatible HDR source workflows through selectable display configurations.

Standard color modes support conventional SDR sources, while HLG and PQ are available for compatible HDR signals. This allows the display configuration to follow the connected video-source format.

Medical Imaging Modes & Color Management

For source-specific image setup, NEXARA 32 provides selectable medical imaging modes and color-space options for different video sources.

Gamma, color temperature and RGB Gain extend this source-specific image and color configuration.

Gamma Adjustment & Tonal Configuration

NEXARA 32 provides Gamma values from 1.8 to 2.6 in 0.1 steps plus Linear for adjustment of image gradation and mid-tone rendering.

The display also supports DICOM, SMPTE ST 2084 (PQ) and ITU-R BT.2100 (HLG) tonal configurations for different medical video and HDR source requirements.

Together with Color Mode, Color Space, Color Temperature and RGB Gain, Gamma forms part of the SOIN U320 family’s broader image-configuration controls.

Multi-View Display with PIP & PBP

NEXARA 32 supports multi-view functions including PIP and PBP for compatible video sources.

A primary medical video source can remain on screen while a secondary compatible source is presented in an inset or side-by-side layout.

This lets the 32-inch display organize more than one compatible signal when the workflow calls for simultaneous viewing on one screen.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About SOIN NEXARA 32 and the U320 Family

Answers to common questions about applications, interfaces, system compatibility, and configuration support.

What is the difference between U320SE and U320Pro?

Both models use the same 32-inch NEXARA display platform and share the core video interfaces. U320Pro additionally supports SDI input and output, including 12G-SDI / 3G-SDI / HD IN/OUT. U320SE is the more economical option and is sufficient for most systems that do not require SDI connectivity. Choose U320Pro when SDI integration is required.

Why choose the 32-inch NEXARA as a main viewing display?

The 32-inch format provides more viewing area than the 27-inch model while requiring less installation space than the 43-inch option. This makes NEXARA 32 a balanced choice for systems where the monitor serves as the primary viewing display and both image area and installation flexibility need to be considered.

Can the NEXARA 32 be used with both 4K and Full HD video sources?

Yes. The NEXARA 32 uses a native 3840 × 2160 4K UHD panel and can display compatible native 4K video sources directly. Compatible 1080p / Full HD sources can also be displayed using NEXARA’s 1080p-to-4K image enhancement for presentation on the 4K screen. The enhanced Full HD image is not the same as native 4K acquisition.

How can the NEXARA 32 be mounted in a medical video system?

The 32-inch U320 family supports VESA 100 × 100 mm and 100 × 200 mm mounting patterns. With a weight of 12.5 kg, the monitor can be planned for different installation layouts according to the cart, wall structure and surrounding equipment. Final installation should allow appropriate space for rear connections and cable routing.

When should I choose NEXARA 32 instead of NEXARA X 32?

Choose the standard NEXARA 32 when the project requires the shared NEXARA 4K visualization platform, image controls and standard medical video integration. If the project also requires the additional S-VIXTA enhancement capabilities available in the NEXARA X range, compare NEXARA 32 with the AIU320Pro and AIU320Ultra configurations of NEXARA X 32.

What information should I provide before requesting a U320 quotation?

If you have specific system requirements, you can share the camera or video-source model, output resolution, required interfaces, mounting method or signal-routing needs. This helps SOINVISION confirm whether U320SE already meets the application requirements or whether the additional SDI connectivity of U320Pro is needed.
